What to wear and bring

You’re booked in and you’re counting down the days to the Climb of your life!

First things first, what do you wear on such an important day? Get ready for the big day by following our checklist below:

WE CLIMB, RAIN OR SHINE!

We equip you in all the outdoor gear you’ll need for your Climb based on the day’s weather conditions and our health & safety essentials. In addition to this, please:

  • Wear comfortable clothing on the day of your Climb (you may prefer to wear this under your Climb suit if the weather is on the chilly side for extra warmth!)
  • Wear comfortable, enclosed rubber-soled shoes such as running, sport or hiking shoes. PVC and leather-soled shoes are not ideal.
  • If there’s a chance it’ll rain while you’re climbing, we recommend bringing a change of shoes and socks so you can change into these after your Climb. Don’t worry about the rain, it won’t dampen your experience - trust us!
  • Bring your own glasses or sunglasses to wear on the day of your Climb. (No DVR – digital video recorder – glasses thank you.)

CAN I BRING A CAMERA/PHONE/GO PRO?

Due to Sydney Harbour Bridge security and safety, Climbers are not permitted to take their own photography equipment on the Bridge (inc. mobile phones). We provide FREE secure lockers for you to keep your personal belongings in, including phones, cameras and GoPros. Our awesome Climb Leaders are multi-talented human beings and as well as being exceptional tour guides, they’re also trained with premium photography equipment to capture photos of you during your Climb. Precious memories to treasure forever.  Various photo packages are available to purchase before, or after your Climb from $46.95.

What about jewellery?

If you’re wearing jewellery or accessories such as a watch, bracelet, or fitness device (E.g. FitBit), these will also need to be stored in your locker. Rings or small earrings are fine to wear during your climb.

If you have long hair that is tied up, this can be done with a soft elastic hair band only, no clips, bobby pins, or scrunchies. If in doubt, ask a member of our team on the day.

DOES BRIDGECLIMB ACCEPT CASH?

No, BridgeClimb is cashless and not able to accept cash for Climb bookings, Gift Voucher purchases, photo, retail or Cafe purchases. Therefore, no need to bring cash with you on the day of your Climb!
