An Australian icon is turning 85!

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is turning 85 on Sunday 19th of March. Since the day it opened in 1932, the Coathanger has become a symbol for both Sydney and Australia, spanning the beautiful harbour and providing a vital link between the northern and southern sides of the city.

You can take the train through it, drive, cycle or walk over it and even sail under it - but our favourite way to enjoy the Bridge is definitely climbing it! We think there’s no better way to celebrate the occasion than climbing to the summit of this engineering masterpiece on Sunday to sing Happy Birthday 134 metres above Sydney harbour! Will you join us?

To mark this milestone, we’ve put together some of our favourite pictures of the Bridge from the past 85 years. Happy Birthday!
