It’s the dawn of the AFL finals, and Sydney is roaring in the lead up with having both local teams representing in the battle for the premiership cup.
The competitive rivalry was rife as GWS ambassador Melissa Doyle and Swans ambassador Peter Phelps took their team spirit to the top arches of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Sydney Harbour was picture perfect at 134 metres above sea level, making one hell of a backdrop for the two AFL ambassadors who both kissed the cup good luck for their respective teams.
GWS Giants were out played by the Adelaide Crows last night, after the Crows dominated the first half with no redemption. The team having never reached a grand finale to date are still the favourites to win the 2017 premiership.
Sydney Swans are taking the field Saturday to secure their position in the second round finals. Fans are hopeful, after the team made a record breaking come back following their six game losing streak.
