Your Easter Weekend Getaway Is Much Closer Than You Think

With the Easter Long Weekend on the horizon, have you found yourself with no getaway plans but a desire to get out and do something new with your mini break?

Loads of people flock to the Harbour City for the weekend. If you’re a local, treat yourself to a Sydney Staycation and appreciate the world-class city you love to call home. Everything you’re looking for in a weekend away is right under your nose:

1. GET SOME AWESOME VIEWS

There are many great vantage points across the city to take in the beauty of the city’s landscape: Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and looking back towards the city skyline from The Gap at South Heads to name a couple.

If you feel you really know Sydney, ask yourself: have you experienced it with the Harbour wind in your Harbour hair, 134m high? The view that the Bridge enjoys every day is truly unique from any other spot in the city.

2. BRUSH UP ON YOUR HISTORY

Sydney is renowned for being a place where the city and surf collide. It’s cosmopolitan yet casual, it’s modern yet it’s got many historic tales to tell. With your Climb Leader as your guide, learn about the history of the city and how it’s played a role in Australia’s development since 1788.

3. HAVE SOME FUN

Each Climb is comprised of up to 14 people, led by one of our entertaining and knowledgeable Climb Leaders. During your Climb experience, which can vary from 1.5 to 3.5 hours depending on which Climb you choose, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people and also ask your Climb Leader plenty of questions. You’re not obligated to laugh at their Dad jokes, either!

After you’ve gotten the lowdown on Sydney from the unique perspective of the Bridge, you can also take advantage of these other special events that will be taking place this weekend:
