Santa Claus and The Sydney Philharmonia Choir Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge

On Wednesday 6th December 2017, Santa Claus took a break from his busy Christmas schedule to climb to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, with 10 singers from the Sydney Philharmonia Choir.

No stranger to heights nor spectacular views, Santa ascended the famous steel arches to the summit, 134 metres above the sparkling harbour, and took in the 360 degree vistas of Sydney and its surrounds.

There he added another string to his festive bow, conducting the choir in three well know Christmas Carols; 'O Come, All Ye Faithful', ‘Deck the Halls’ and 'Hallelujah'; from the concert of Handel’s Messiah the Sydney Philharmonia Choir are performing at The Opera House in late December.

After the climb and performance on a stage like no other, Santa told the team at BridgeClimb how much he enjoys Climbing that beloved coathanger and that he would come back on Christmas Day, once he has finished his delivery run, to surprise some Climbers as he has done for the last several years.
