This Saturday is the grand opening of the Sydney Zoo out in the city’s west. There are over 2000 animals to see hailing from all over the planet. Lions, Tigers, Koalas, snakes, giant grasshoppers, penguins and even Sharks. The zoo is wheelchair and pram friendly so great for the entire family!

Also this Saturday, Learn how to make beautiful floral arrangements using the best seasonal blooms. They’ll share all the secrets so that you can create your own gorgeous floral designs. This event will be taking place on the aptly named Botany Road in Alexandria.

FILM MUSIC WITH NICK CAVE AND WARREN ELLIS

Legendary Australian musicians Nick Cave and Warren Ellis will perform their stunning film soundtracks at the equally stunning Sydney Opera House. These two artists will be accompanied by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Sydney Philharmonic Choirs to play their greatest hits that have made it onto the silver screen.
