This Weekend in Sydney with Climb Leader Nick

Our selection of the best events in Sydney for the weekend of 20 December 2019

COOGEE CAROLS

Who doesn’t love belting out a Christmas carol or two! Head down to Coogee beach this Sunday for the 18th Annual Coogee Carols. Sing the golden oldies as well as some new bops and cap off the night by watching the fireworks display.

LIGHTS OF CHRISTMAS

Once again, St. Mary’s Cathedral is lighting up with vivid projections for the Lights of Christmas event. You and your family can bring a picnic and relish in all festive lights and sounds, on a magical night out.

GIANT GINGERBREAD CAROUSEL

Carols and lights are covered so there's only one thing left, food! Each year the Shangri-La shows off a mega edible spectacle and this year is no different. This Christmas there's a Giant Gingerbread Carousel with the gingerbread alone weighing 750kgs, complete with icing and candy canes. Truly a feast for the eyes!

CHRISTMAS DAY CLIMB

After you've unwrapped your Christmas gifts, why not head down here for our Christmas Day Climb! Whether you're visiting Sydney for the holidays or just looking to do something different, climbing an Australian icon at Christmas will definitely be a day to remember. And, who knows, it may even become a new tradition!

BridgeClimb is open on the 25th of December, with Climbs departing during the Day, at Twilight and Night.

Whatever you do this weekend, make sure it's a good one - and from all of us here we wish you a very Merry Christmas!
