BridgeClimb Sydney Opens Pre-Sale for New BridgeMuseum at Sydney Harbour Bridge

BridgeClimb Sydney has opened pre-sale for its newly transformed BridgeMuseum, giving visitors an early opportunity to secure tickets to the new world-class experience within the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The significant heritage site of the South-East Pylon, first opened to visitors in 1934, is now undergoing a $10 million-plus revitalisation funded by the Hammon family – operators of BridgeClimb Sydney and custodians of the South-East Pylon. The works will transform the former Pylon Lookout & Museum into an immersive, interactive destination that brings the Bridge’s story to life, from its construction to its ongoing role in the living history of Sydney.
“The Pylon Lookout & Museum has always been one of Sydney’s hidden gems,” said Deb Zimmer, CEO of BridgeClimb Sydney. “This transformation gives our domestic and international visitors a new way to discover the Bridge’s history, and engineering – full of moments that spark curiosity and connection. It also recognises the enduring relationship the Gadigal have with this land and harbour, long before the Bridge was built.”
The planned enhancements align closely with the objectives outlined in the NSW Visitor Economy Strategy 2035, connecting visitors with Sydney’s rich history and culture through a world-class destination. The project reflects the strategy’s emphasis on experience-led tourism, high-quality visitor infrastructure, and the celebration of local culture.
The new BridgeMuseum complements the BridgeClimb experience, offering visitors another way to connect with the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. BridgeClimb continues to take guests on an unforgettable journey to the Summit in guided groups of no more than 14, sharing stories and views of Sydney and Australia’s most recognisable landmarks.
