World First - Corporate Clients Dine on the Summit of the Iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge
On Wednesday 7 May 2014, BridgeClimb Sydney and The Urban Purveyor Group have collaborated together for a world first – a tailored experience which invited corporate clients to scale to the summit of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and taste the catering delights created by the award winning chefs of The Argyle, Saké Restaurant & Bar, Ananas Bar & Brasserie and The Cut Bar & Grill.
The relationship between The Urban Purveyor Group and BridgeClimb Sydney has been formed to further showcase The Rocks area as a one stop destination for corporate entertaining and team building.
Julie van der Weegen, Director of Sales Urban Purveyor Group, said: “Every detail had to be thoroughly considered, our team of chefs and BridgeClimb have worked together to ensure that that food would arrive safely, at the correct temperature and still be beautifully presented in portion sized mouthfuls. High levels of safety procedures and protocols have been followed and the team at BridgeClimb sourced and modified equipment to make it possible while our Chef’s maintained the integrity of their creations for taste and visual appeal.”
Jane Hardie, Sales Manager from BridgeClimb Sydney, said, “Logistically this has been one of our most challenging exercises, but one we really wanted to make happen and demonstrate that BridgeClimb can create bespoke experiences for corporate entertaining and team building. We are delighted to work with the Urban Purveyor Group to offer corporate groups yet another unique way to experience one of Australia’s most beautiful and iconic landmarks.”
A select group of corporate event managers were invited to take part in this bespoke experience, which can now be created upon request to corporate clients looking for unique event experiences. The world first experience also included being serenade by talented musicians at the summit of the Bridge and post-climb canapés and celebratory drinks in the award winning, hatted French restaurant, Ananas Bar & Brasserie.
The aim in devising this event package was to demonstrate outside the box thinking when it comes to events and team building. This experience uniquely offers samples of Urban Purveyor Groups exquisite menu enjoyed on top of Sydney’s most celebrated tourist attraction.
