BridgeClimb and Wandering Warriors host Anzac Day Service atop Sydney Harbour Bridge

To remember and honour all who have served in our Armed Forces, we partnered with Wandering Warriors to hold a special ANZAC Day Dawn Service atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Well before the sun rose, close to 150 Climbers gathered at the summit to remember with admiration and respect those who have selflessly served their country. The Dawn Service was an intimate and emotional tribute to remember all past and present servicemen and women who put serving their country above all.

With the flags at half mast, standing 134 metres above Sydney Harbour the service paid a special tribute to our wounded soldiers with a reading of the Invictus Games poem by Ambassador, Stewart Sherman.

As the sun rose from the horizon, the final words of The Ode were spoken, followed by The Last Post which resonated proudly from the highest point of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

A special medley of "I am Australian", "Waltzing Matilda", and "Road to Gundagai" was played by Bagpipes as the service came to a close.

This event honoured and remembered our fallen servicemen and women with all profits from the Dawn Service Climb donated to Wandering Warriors, who focus on supporting those that have served in Australian special operations units, their families, and the wider veteran community.

Lest We Forget.
