Just like a BridgeClimb, we want the planet to be a safe place to laugh, learn and play for future generations. We're committed to a journey of continual improvement in the way we support our planet. From the suppliers we work with to considering our carbon footprint, we're excited to be having these important conversations and stepping into this space more and more.
OUR SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES
CLIMATE ACTIVE CERTIFICATION
BridgeClimb is proud to hold a Climate Active certification for our business operations - awarded to organisations that have credibly reached a state of carbon neutrality against the requirements of the Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard for Organisations. To achieve certification BridgeClimb has measured emissions, commits to reducing these where possible, and offsets remaining emissions by investing in carbon offset projects.

RECYCLED BRIDGECLIMB SUITS
We’re giving our BridgeClimb Suits a well-deserved second act — and no, it’s not on Broadway. BridgeClimb has teamed up with sustainability legends Upparel to recycle thousands of our retired BridgeClimb Suits into something truly awesome. This eco-friendly encore has kept 5,579.5 kg of material out of landfill and prevented a whopping 19,528.25 kg of greenhouse gases from hitting the atmosphere. This initiative reflects our dedication to minimising our environmental footprint and fostering a more sustainable tourism industry.
The old suits will be processed into an ultra-fine, fibrous material called FillUP, a sustainable alternative to polyester. From here the material is compressed into UPtex, UPPAREL’s ground-breaking circular material that can be used in applications from packaging and display signage to domestic furnishings — helping to create a circular economy, giving a second life to our iconic BridgeClimb Suits and supporting a greener future.

RECYCLED CLIMBER CERTIFICATES
Certifiably green and full of joy! Our Certificate of Achievement given to all Child guests once they complete their unforgettable experience is crafted from 100% recycled and recyclable paper. Not that you'll ever throw this away. Fridge worthy for years to come!
Also, in our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, and sustainable, BridgeClimb has reduced its paper needs considerably but in the rare cases that printing is required, partners with printing companies that only use stock from FSC-certified forests which continually replant to replace on an ongoing basis and use other recyclable initiatives.
