Bringing in the New Year in the stunning city of Sydney is high on lots of people’s bucket lists – after all, how could you resist the awesome fireworks display centred around the Sydney Harbour Bridge?
Can I climb the Bridge on New Year’s Eve?
Although BridgeClimb is open to climb the Bridge almost every day of the year (364 in fact), there are no Climbs on the 31 December due to the necessary preparations required by the City of Sydney to prepare the Bridge for it’s fireworks fiesta. If you’d like a taste of what the view looks like from the top of the Bridge, check out the Sydney New Year’s app available here.
When can I climb during the holiday period?
If you are coming to Sydney for the New Year’s period and are interested in climbing the Bridge, we operate our regular Climbs every day excluding the 30 and 31 December. On the 30th, we operate The Western Outlook (mornings only) – an experience on the western side of the Bridge that will take you to the summit. All Climbs recommence on the 1st of January.
